NEA/PSEA/LMEA Web-Sites

General Membership Meeting

There will be a General Membership Meeting of the Lower Merion Education Association on March 14 at 4:00PM in the LMEA office.

Tuition Reimbursement

Applications for tuition reimbursement can be made following the contractual procedures after January 1 for funds that become available July 1 for the fiscal year.

LMEA Spring Banquet

This year, the LMEA Spring Banquet will be held on Thursday, May 31. Please avoid scheduling events that will conflict with this date and mark your calendar to attend. This is always a spectacular event. Come and celebrate. This year we have combined the Banquet with the Annual LMEA Retiree luncheon. The evening will be an opportunity to reminisce with retired colleagues and co-workers as well. The cost is $35.00. Tickets will be sold as we get closer to event by your building rep.

Minutes

Executive Council and General Membership meeting minutes are distributed to members and posted on www.lmeaonline.org shortly after each Executive Council meeting. Of particular interest are building/unit concerns. Concerns not addressed or actions not taken are investigated. The results of the investigation are reported in the President’s report in the following month’s minutes. If you have a concern regarding discipline, working conditions or the contract, please contact your building rep.

Instruction and Curriculum Council (ICC) and Staff Development Council (SDC) meeting minutes also contain building/unit concerns and are addressed the same as above. They are posted monthly in your building. If you have concerns regarding instruction, curriculum, or staff development, please contact your ICC or SDC rep.

Executive Council meetings are held the second Monday of the month in the LMEA office at 4:00PM

Officers Meetings are held the Wednesday before Executive Council meetings at the LMEA office.
